Highland Life

Delivering Better Public Services

A plan of action to deliver better public services in the Highlands, in keeping with the priorities of the Scottish Government, has been launched. The Single Outcome Agreement (PDF) sets out how The Highland Council and its community planning partners will address the 15 national outcomes, detailing what can be expected locally. The outcomes cover the environment, enterprise, education, services for young and older people, health and community safety.

Highland LEADER 2007-2013

LEADER is a European Union Community Initiative aimed at promoting economic and community development within rural areas. The Highland LEADER 2007-2013 programme has now been allocated £6 million by the Scottish Government. Is your project eligible for funding?

Race Equality Survey

Providers of public services in Highland have a duty to produce a Race Equality Scheme which sets out how we tackle racial discrimination, promote equality of opportunity and promote good relations between racial groups. We are reviewing our schemes and would appreciate it if you could take the time to answer a short survey.

Welcome to Highlandlife, the community portal created in conjunction with the Highland Community Planning Partnership and part-financed by the European Union.
